题目：Assessing replicability of findings across two studies of multiple features

摘要:
Replicability analysis aims to identify the findings that replicated across independent studies that examine the same features. These features can be single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) examined for associations with disease, genes examined for differential expression, protein pairs examined for protein-protein interactions, etc. We provide novel replicability analysis procedures for two studies with a guaranteed control over false replicability claims. Each of the proposed procedures computes for each of the examined features a number, the r-value, which quantifies the strength of replication.
The talk is based on a joint work with Ruth Heller from Tel-Aviv University.
报告人简介：
Dr Bogomolov received a Ph.D. in Statistics at Tel-Aviv University in 2012. She was a postdoctoral fellow in the Faculty of Industrial Engineering at the Technion during 2011–2012 and a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Statistics at Haifa University during 2012–2013. Since 2013, she is a faculty member in the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management of the Technion. Her research interests include simultaneous and selective inference, replicability analysis, and hierarchical testing. She has been working on the development of the false discovery rate-controlling methodologies for various statistical problems.
