Talent Recruitment of Faculty of Economics and Management


Positions Available:

FEM offers a variety of full-time faculty positions at the Full Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Postdoctoral level in all fields. The following fields are strongly preferred: International Finance, Fintech, Corporate Finance, Urban and Regional Economics, International Political Economics, Educational Economics, Applied Econometrics, Financial Econometrics, Marketing, Business Administration (Business Strategy), Business Data Analysis, Information System and Management, Tourism, Social Security, Public Policy, Statistics, Data Science, Financial Engineering, and Insurance.

 

Job Qualifications: 

Professor:

1. Candidates should adhere to the correct political orientation, be devoted to education, have noble moral sentiment, and abide by the norms of teachers' ethics and academic ethics.

2. Candidates should have published strong academic research work with significant impacts as recognized by their peers and have an excellent international academic research background.

3. Age requirement: No more than 50 years old (humanities and social sciences); no more than 45 years old (science and engineering).

Associate Professor (Associate Professor on the tenure track):

1. Candidates should adhere to the correct political orientation, be devoted to education, have noble moral sentiment, and abide by the norms of teachers' ethics and academic ethics.

2. Candidates should have demonstrated excellence in academic research and teaching, and their representative academic research work should have important academic research and application value.

3. Age requirement: No more than 40 years old (humanities and social sciences), no more than 35 years old (science and engineering).

Assistant Professor:

1. Candidates should already have a Ph.D. degree in economics or a related field or firmly expect to have one by the fall of 2021.

2. Candidates should have a good paper publication record or show excellent research ability and potential. Rich teaching experience is preferred.

3. Age requirement: No more than 30 years old for fresh Ph.D. graduates, no more than 33 years old for postdoctoral researchers.

Researcher (including Postdoctoral Faculty):

1. Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree and should have gotten their Ph.D. degree within the last three years.

2. Candidates should have a high academic level and strong academic research capability.

3. Age requirement: No more than 35 years old.

Application screening begins immediately and the application deadline is November 302020(Beijing time). Applicants should send a CV, three reference letters (Assistant Professor and Postdoctoral Researcher positions only), research statement, teaching evaluation (if any), and copies of selected publications. Three published academic papers are required for candidates applying for Full Professor or Associate Professor positions. Job market paper and published academic papers (if any) are required for candidates applying for Assistant Professor or Postdoctoral Researcher positions.
