The opening ceremony of “School-Enterprise Cooperation Month”
On October 13th, the opening ceremony of School-Enterprise Cooperation Month was held in ECNU's North Zhongshan Road Campus. The Faculty of Economics and Management and the College of Economics and Management joined hands with five well-known companies including Xujiahui Centre Group, China Mobile Communications Group Shanghai, the Shanghai Branch of CITIC Securities, Ernst & Young, and Yihai Kerry Arowana Food, and discussed ways to extend school-enterprise cooperation and collaborate to cultivate outstanding talent.
In attendence were representatives of cooperative enterprises, Deputy Chair of the University Council Yang Changli, director of ECNU's student career development center Liu Jiliang, Chair of the SEM (CEM) Council Yue Hua, Dean of CEM Gao Xiangdong, and teacher and student representatives.

At the ceremony, Yang Changli issued letters of appointment to six outstanding corporate executives to become Enterprise Mentors of SEM and CEM. She emphasized that the fundamental task of higher education institutions is to cultivate talent with leadership, and professional abilities while encouraging an international perspective and strengthening moral education. School-enterprise cooperation provides students with an excellent platform for growth and the chance to gain practical experience. On behalf of SEM and CEM, Yue Hua signed agreements with five enterprises relating to practice and internships.
