On July 17, the Faculty of Economics and Management of East China Normal University signed a school-enterprise strategic cooperation agreement with Shanghai Xujiahui Commercial Co., Ltd. The MBA student intership projects results briefing also took place.
At the beginning of the signing ceremony, Wang Bin, General Manager of Shanghai Xujiahui Commercial Co., Ltd., expressed his gratitude to this school-enterprise strategic cooperation opportunity and then affirmed the research results and suggestions of five MBA students who participated in the consulting project. He especially expressed appreciation for the professional guidance of Associate Professor Li Zhen, Associate Professor Zhang Yan, and Associate Professor Hou Shijun to the students and their joint efforts to promote this project.
Professor Yue Hua, Chair of the SEM Council, extended great gratitude to the practice platform provided by Shanghai Xujiahui Commercial Co., Ltd. to ECNU in her speech, describing how it marked the high recognition and trust Shanghai Xujiahui Commercial Co., Ltd. placed in our university and teachers and students. She expressed sincere hope that the signing of the school-enterprise strategic cooperation framework would help to promote the development of the enterprise and make greater contributions to our society through the integration of the interdisciplinary characteristics of our faculty.
At the signing ceremony, Yue Hua and Wang Bin, as representatives of the Faculty and enterprise respectively, formally signed the school-enterprise strategic cooperation agreement between ECNU SEM and Shanghai Xujiahui Commercial Co., Ltd.
Five MBA students gave a mid-term report on the consulting project after the signing ceremony and then Professor He Jiaxun, Deputy Director of the Faculty and Chinese dean of AEBS, Professor Lan Faqin, Deputy Director of the Faculty and Director of the Professional Degree Education Center, as well as Zhang Jianfang, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Xujiahui Commercial Co., Ltd. and General Manager of Shanghai Huijin Department Store Co., Ltd., gave comments and suggestions to the students.
