New Statistics and Interdisciplinary Sciences joins with Economics and Management at ECNU.
On November 30, the Academy of Statistics and Interdisciplinary Sciences was inaugurated at ECNU. The new establishment aims at statistics and interdisciplinary studies in order to innovate cutting-edge interdisciplinary theories and methods while propelling interdisciplinary integration and development in courses such as economics, business administration, public administration, and library and information sciences.

As a relatively independent research institute at ECNU, the academy is subordinate to the Faculty of Economics and Management. ECNU has a wide selection of economics and management disciplines with a strong emphasis on finance, statistics, economics, business administration, and public administration. This emerging interdisciplinary field possesses distinctive characteristics, with its academic strength and influence continuously increasing as a result of the reputable teaching faculty.
