The opening ceremony of “School-Enterprise Cooperation Month”

On October 13th, the opening ceremony of “School-Enterprise Cooperation Month” was held in North Zhongshan Road Campus. The Faculty of Economics and Management, and the College of Economics and Management joined hands with five well-known companies including Xujiahui Centre Group Co., Ltd., China Mobile Communications Group Shanghai Co., Ltd., CITIC Securities Co., Ltd. Shanghai Branch, Ernst & Young, and Yihai Kerry Arowana Food Co., Ltd., discussed the ways of extending school-enterprise cooperation and collaborating to cultivate outstanding talents.

Representatives of cooperative enterprises, Yang Changli, Deputy Chair of the University Council, Liu Jiliang, director of the ECNU's student career development center, Yue Hua, Chair of the SEM (CEM) Council, Gao Xiangdong, dean of CEM, and representatives of teachers and students attended the meeting.

At the ceremony, Yang Changli issued the letter of appointment to six outstanding corporate executives as Enterprise Mentors of SEM and CEM. She emphasized that the fundamental task of higher education institutions is to cultivate talents with leadership, professional abilities and an international perspective and to strengthen moral education. School-enterprise cooperation provides students with excellent practice platform for their growth. On behalf of SEM and CEM, Yue Hua signed internship and practice base agreements with five enterprises.
