In early November 2022, the 10th Tencent Business School Development Forum, hosted by Tencent News and Qihang Zhicheng, was held in Beijing. Experts and scholars from China's well-known business education industry, including approximately 300 university representatives and over 10 million netizens, participated in the forum both online and offline. A total of 36 business education industry experts expressed their views on the future of business education. At the Development Forum, the Professional Degree Education Center of the Faculty of Economics and Management of East China Normal University won the “2022 Innovative Business Education Brand” award.
The 10th Tencent Business School Development Forum
Wu Yingce, Director of the Career Development Department of the China Higher Education Association, made an opening speech for the forum. Keynote speeches were delivered by Wei Jiang, Dean of the School of Management, Zhejiang University; Bai Changhong, Dean of the Nankai University Business School; Wu Changqi, Dean of the School of Management, Shandong University; Weng Qingxiong, Deputy Dean of the School of Management, University of Science and Technology of China; Zhang Junsheng, Deputy Dean of the School of Management, Sun Yat-sen University; Wang Xiaoyi, Professor and Assistant Dean of the School of Management, Zhejiang University; Xu Guodong, Head of AACSB East Asia; and Jiang Yue, Director of the GMAC Greater China University Cooperation Department. At the forum, four wonderful theme forums were also held: “Business Value Recovery under the Global Public Health Crisis”; “Breaking Through Boundaries and Exploring New Trends in Business Development”; “In-depth Linkage of Industry, Education, and Research to Stimulate Business Education”; and “Building a Business Education Talent Training System in the New Era.”
With the theme of “Innovation and Openness,” this forum closely followed the pace of the development of the times, explored and innovated, and sought high-quality social and economic development in the new era. The award presentation session of the forum aimed to pay tribute to the outstanding institutions that are following the development trend of the times, blazing a unique trail in the sea of creativity, leading the innovative development of business education, taking the lead in exploring the introduction of innovative business education resources, and achieving innovative breakthroughs. the Professional Degree Education Center of the Faculty of Economics and Management of East China Normal University won the “2022 Innovative Business Education Brand” award and will continue to create a new model of business education with Chinese characteristics in the future.
